(17 Shorka 410, The Crossing, Zoluren) – Lost in the terrible disaster at Ulf’Hara Keep

* A meteor streaks across the sky as Renshuel’s soul departs forever to walk the Starry Road.

Herald Renshuel Talvoldien, scribe to Prince Vorclaf, was one of those numbered in the explosion that destroyed Ulf’Hara Keep. Renshuel, a moon mage by training, was a precise record-keeper and helped to record all official events for the Prince, as well as pen instructions, appointments, missives, and diplomatic documents. He was an effective mentor and trainer to a host of Pages at the Keep. Together, they helped to keep the operations of government working smoothly for Prince Vorclaf.

Although diminutive in statue as a gnome, nobody ever questioned his voice of authority when he “asked” something. He would remind people of appropriate behavior in Court when needed, and I will forever remember him pushing his spectacles up on his nose for a better view of something. Renshuel announced the Prince on formal occasions and brought many a meeting to start with the unlocking of a journal and a flourish of his quill.
