Poltergeist in the Crossings!

(Crossing, Zoluren: 313 Skullcleaver 362)

Walking in too the bar, a tan skinned male human observes the area before sitting before Baresh.

‘Heya Baresh, the name is Latheon’

Ordering nothing, he asks ‘Did you here about the Poltergeist roaming around within the Crossings?’

Clearing his throat before speaking ‘Well there I was at the bank, just about to head home. When all the sudden this Silvery White Poltergeist comes by and lets off this dead awful scream that kill some poor mage, by some unseen force, the mages head was utterly destroyed!’

After saying that he orders a shot. Taking it smoothly with one swig, he starts again.

‘Everyone was startled after seeing that. I have to admit, I was. It made me curious though, what was it doing here and why did it kill someone with no reason? So I went for my Brother, Salvalis and his wife Paschien, from there we met up with Marshall Hegemonic.’

‘We decided to find out what was going on with this Poltergeist. We went in search of it, not knowing what to expect.’ Placing his hand his steel smogli, smiling slightly.

Gazing around the room, to see whom may be listening to the story he continued, ‘Well we soon crossed paths with it right in front of the Cleric guild, not far from here. We tried communicating with it by all means, then it did something unexpected, it removed its armor and knelt before us.’

‘Hegomegic stated ‘I think it wants us to kill it’. After not reacting to what the Marshall said, it happened, that ‘Scream’, killing a young ranger and Paschien. Well emotions got the best of us, Salvalis charged it as Hegemonic and I quickly advanced this tortured soul, Hegemonic getting a shot off with his crossbow, landing a nice hit, Salvalis had the killing blow that sent the Poltergeist’s body limp. Just then the Poltergeist lets out its last words, "Thank you."

Shaking his head ‘Well Salvalis got thrown in jail and the dead were tended to. I felt bad for the Poltergeist, having to suffer like that, unable to have his soul rest in peace an’ all.’

‘I’m telling you Baresh something wasn’t right about that night. Hopefully in time we’ll have some answers, until than I would keep ya weapon within reach.’

Nodding at Baresh he throws his longcoat away from his hips and flips some coins onto the bar. ‘Safe travels my friend’ and slowly walks out the door.
