First Annual Bardic Storytelling Contest
(City, Province: Uthmor 356)
Come one, come all and listen to bards spin their finest tales of the history, myths and stories of Elanthia for prizes and glory. For more details and to sign up see the announcement or write Nimuen Wavesinger directly.
It will be Feb. 19th (Friday) and 20th (Saturday) from 7:30pm to 10:30pm Eastern Time at the Bard’s Corner in the Half-Pint Inn, Crossing.
Sponsored by Kortny Horselords and organized by Nimuen Wavesigner, there will be a contest for best original short story contest. The rules are simple: we’re looking for original stories, with a recommended length of ten minutes and an absolute maximum of fifteen, with preference given to fiction, history and mythological tales of the realms. Short plays are allowed.
This contest is for Bards – if you’re not a bard and have an exceptional reason for wanting to enter, please contact me.
There are prizes just waiting to be claimed, check out Nimuen’s place (above) for the scoop on the prizes.
A tip: Folks, please don’t improvise these… from long experience, a rehearsed (scripted) story works best.
