Bard Guild Attacked by Dragon Priests!

(Crossing, Zoluren: 355 Dolefaren 355)

A wave of Dragon Priest fanatics, thugs, and ruffians invaded the Bard Guild in the Crossing as we sat there, visiting, sharing news, and practicing. Their entry was announced with a poison bomb. I was stunned, poisoned, and then when I tried to defend myself, reported to the guard.

In the confusion I heard nothing said aside from death cries. When the cry went up for the guard, I quickly ran for the infirmary to get the nerve poison healed (we Elotheans are very allergic to poisons) then got out of town until I could sort out this assault charge.

I head one of them cry out, "Death to Bards!" or something close to that.

I am used to tomatoes, but in this instance I wasn’t even performing.
