Goodbye My Friend

Mir Devoir is one of the most notable members of the realms, both living and gone, and has been an asset to Elanthia for as long as I can remember. His deeds include many. Among the most notable, he coordinated an auction to raise the funds to have our warrior mage guilds rebuilt; the Archmage required 1600 platinums to rebuild the guilds in Riverhaven and The Crossing. Mir managed to gather enough items and auction them to raise the funds in a single night, paving the way for all of us to expand our cherished guild, and to have a better home for our studies.

Tonight, I said my goodbyes to this man, as he told me that he was off for new places, and was not sure if he would return or not. With a heavy heart, I write this, for I will miss my friend greatly, and I will still feel a pang each time I step into my own guild.

Goodbye Mir, and I hope your travels do bring you back to us, for you will never be far from my thoughts.
