Disappearing Sentinel Ivy Bars Undershard

I’m a ranger first and formost, so stumbling around underneath a city doesn’t have a terribly great appeal. But then I saw all the crime down there, ruffians, monsters, thiefs, assassins, and decided it needed some cleaning up. So I started hunting down there about a week back.

Now a couple days ago while I was down in the Channel Bank to crawl into the opening in Shard, I ran into the Sentinel Ivy. I had never seen her anywhere in Shard before, much less standing at the entrance to Undershard.

So I continued as I’d planned, and made my way toward the opening. But she stepped forward, barring my way. “You can’t go in there,” she says. “Ferdahl’s orders.”

That was about all I could get her to tell me. I took a good look at her to decide my options. She was fairly typical except for one oddity – one hand was light, the other dark.

Well anyway, I bid my goodbye to her and started walking away. But as soon as I was out of sight, I hid and snuck back. She wasn’t lounging real close to the opening, and to my surprise, I snuck through.Several other people figured out the way past her as well.

As I puzzled over this, several thugs ran in and attacked me. As luck would have it, they all threw some strange nerve poison on me at once, and I figured I should check with an empath to see how bad it was. So I made my way out only a couple minutes since I had come in….and Ivy was gone already. She’s not very good at sticking with her orders!
